Frank Wrathall and the Dynojet Racing team claimed a hat-trick of race finishes yesterday, two of them in the points, but were left to ponder what might have been had events panned out differently. For although Frank's Toyota Avensis was among the quickest cars in the field, a first-race incident left Wrathall battling a day-long disadvantage.

Frank Wrathall and the Dynojet Racing team are pinning their hopes for a turnaround in their luck on next month's home events at Oulton Park following another disappointing day at the races at Thruxton today. Despite a promising showing in qualifying, in which Frank's Toyota Avensis secured a fourth-row grid slot, the Lancashire racer came away from the fastest circuit on the BTCC calendar with only a single point to show for his trouble.
